A brief note on CRARA Activities
– 2013 The “Center for Regenerative Agriculture for Africa”. (CRARA) was created. CRARA developed proposals in collaboration with the producer’s association seeking technical support from the NGO,
– For Winrock International Guinea, in 2022 Trained representatives of about 400 producer associations on Organic horticulture production; in 2021 Completed a remote assignment on Agroecology;
– For Winrock International Senegal, in 2023 trained Teachers and students of a technical schools “ Mines Fertes, on Agroecology. Two of these students are now implementing new agroecological technologies on their individual farms around Tambacouda;
– In 2022 received funding for a 1 year project on Agro-ecology for a local organization in Mboro, funded by the French Development Agency (AFD).
– 2020, trained 15 Ag. School teachers in Thies region and 20 Young farmers in Casamance on Agro-ecology, January-February.
– 2018-2019, trained 22 Ag. Professional school teacher on Monitoring and Evaluation and Potato grower farmers on Organic farming in Guinea.
– In 2019 received seed money to establish two training and demonstration centers in Thies and Fatick. – Senegal.
